Solarcentury provide pre-engineered C21e solar electric tile systems via a range of National Builder's Merchants, which can be installed by existing trades people, (providing they have completed the necessary training) to help meet the Code For Sustainable Homes and other carbon targets required by 'Merton Rule'-style planning policies.

More information:
Solarcentury has developed a range of solar products designed to replace conventional roof tiles on pitched roofs. Both the slate and tile formats have been designed with the roofing contractor in mind and can be installed (once trained and approved by Solarcentury) by your nominated roofing contractor. This approach keeps installation cost to a minimum and is the quickest way to deliver solar. Many of the UK's leading roofing contractors have installed our solar tiles and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

For roofs with tiles that are not compatible with our integrated products we have a semi-integrated option using our wide range of conventional solar modules. Either option has been designed to be quick and easy to install without compromising your roof warranty.

Fully-integrated solar
Fully-integrated solar is quicker to install and minimises the impact on the aesthetic of your property. Solarcentury's integrated solar tiles also make specifying and installing solar systems as simple as possible.

These off-the-shelf kits are easy for SAP assessors to specify as they are sized in kilowatt peak (kWp). This makes specification of renewables for your projects more transparent and much quicker than is the case with conventional solar modules.

If you or your Roofer wishes to install our C21e tiles, but has not completed our Solarcentury Roofer training course, they will need to apply for our ‘on site verification’ in order for the installation to be covered by the Solarcentury warranty.
