Not MCS?
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme provides consumers a guarantee that installers have conformed to a rigorous set of standards.
In addition, to qualify for grants such as the Low Carbon Buildings Programme and the upcoming 'Clean Energy Cashback' scheme, both the microgeneration product and the installer must carry the MCS mark.
As a consequence, consumers are increasingly looking for the MCS mark when choosing a PV installer.
