Solarcentury completes £13.5 million financing

August 29th 2007

Today, we have announced the completion of a £13.5m round of financing to fund our product development and international expansion strategy. The round was led by zouk ventures, a European Cleantech investor, and co-led by Good Energies, a global investor in renewable energy. Additional investors are Vantania Holdings Limited (advised by the Consensus Business Group) and Foursome Investments, along with participation by existing investors VantagePoint Venture Partners and Scottish and Southern Energy.

Print house launches carbon savings with solar

22 December 2007

The launch of the solar roof at the Print House in Dalston, East London, is a collaboration between ourselves and London-based charitable development trust The Bootstrap Company. Saving over 12 tonnes of CO2 each year, this is one of the largest and most efficient solar installations of its kind in the UK.

BIH Housing Association Powering ahead with Renewable Energy

Owenvale Court, a residential home in West Belfast, has embraced the drive towards zero carbon output, by incorporating renewable energy technology. Jointly managed by BIH Housing Association and Saint John of God Association, the home is the first in Northern Ireland to be powered by the latest innovation in integrated renewable energy, our C21e solar electric roof tiles.
