C21e solar tiles & slates
If you are re-roofing or need to maintain the look of your roof and want to integrate solar electric technology, our C21e solar electric roof tiles and solar slates are the perfect solution.
C21e solar tiles and slates fit directly into the roof, replacing conventional roof tiles or slates so that the appearance of your roof line is not altered. Installation is as simple as re-roofing with conventional tiles or slates.

C21e tile is compatible with several types of tiles and slates, and should only be installed with one of the following:

Features of the C21e solar roof tile:
- No extra planning - C21e sits flush with the roof.
- No specialist skills - all solar roofing work is carried out by the roofing contractor / solar installer.
- High power output - less than 8 square metres per kWp.
- Back mounted contact strips - increase effective collector area and reduce surface glare.
- Power output - guaranteed for 20 years.
If your tile type is not listed please see our page on Solar Slates and the compatible slate products. Integrating with any other kind of roofing product will require flashing and will invalidate the solar tile's warranty.
Solar tiles and slates are also available via building merchants (see map below), although the still need to be installed by a qualified roofer. In order to qualify for the feed-in tariff the installer must also be MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) registered.
