Solarcentury’s EnergyRoof is one of the most versatile photovoltaic roofing systems available.
As a complete roofing solution, which forms the waterproof covering for barns or commercial buildings, Energy Roof is a unique 'building integrated' solar photovoltaic roofing system.
Our engineers have developed EnergyRoof to be compatible with the market leading PV modules and to allow simple installation on the majority of roof structures such as steel (IPN, IPE, Z and sigma purlins) and timber frames.
Solar PV provides the highest Feed-in Tariff rate of all renewable technologies. An EnergyRoof installation of 10 - 50 kilowatts will receive 32.9p per unit of electricity generated as well as providing the building owner with electricity during daylight hours at no additional cost. In most cases this can deliver a ROI of roughly 10%.
The EnergyRoof system has been independently tested to the most demanding European standard prEN15601 (resistance to wind-driven rain) to guarantee its suitability as a weather-tight roof with almost any PV module. In the UK it is also one of the only complete 'building integrated' PV roofing solutions, which many Local Authorities demand for developments to be classed under 'permitted development rights'.
* Please note all EnergyRoof projects will need to be funded by the building owner. This is because solar financiers will not finance building infrastructure.
Should you want a solar project financed, we can can discuss a range of alternative options with you. Please complete the form below specifying that you would like your solar financed at the base of the page.
