Testimonials

Plug Into The Sun Managing Director Andrew Tanner says there is a lot to be said for using an accredited Solarcentury installer: “Our track record is a shining light for our customers and we pride ourselves on offering them the best, most honest advice. Working in partnership with Solarcentury helps customers identify the country’s leading and most experienced suppliers and installers, which is vital. It is disappointing to know there are companies out there letting down the industry but with the Solarcentury Network, customers can locate a first-class PV installer with complete confidence. We were Cornwall’s first accredited installer back in 2005 and we’re proud to have been working with Solarcentury all this time.”

Jim Kenney, MD, Chelsfield Solar added: "Solarcentury’s Associate network has been leading the way in providing high quality solar PV installations for almost a decade and Chelsfield Solar are proud to have been part of that network since day one. Homeowners have long appreciated the benefits of the Network because Solarcentury only sign up high performing companies as Associates, and for us it works well because we get the support of the UK’s most well established and influential PV Company. Basically the Network has been a badge of quality for a long time and we’re glad to wear it.”

Not MCS?

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) provides consumers a guarantee that installers conform to a rigorous set of standards.

In addition, to qualify for the UK Feed-in Tariff both the microgeneration product and the installer must be MCS accredited.

As a consequence, consumers are increasingly looking for the MCS mark when choosing a PV installer.

To find out more about becoming accredited, please visit the MCS website.
