Dates
Course dates will be announced as soon as we have sufficient numbers to run a course. If you are interested in the training please mark on the application form the location you would prefer and we will contact you to arrange a date once we have sufficient numbers. Courses are limited to eight to ten trainees (dependent on the venue) and so you shouldn't have to wait very long.

If a date has been specified in the table above then we have sufficient numbers to run the course but there may be a few remaining places. Please contact us to find out how many available spaces we have.

Course requirements

Training is designed for roofing contractors who are experienced and proficient in slating and tiling and whose role includes site assessment and the provision of quotations
Personal Protective Equipment must be supplied by the trainee. This will usually include safety boots, hard hat and high-visibility vest. Please read the venue information in the table above for the requirements at each location
All materials, lunch and refreshments will be supplied
Travel and other costs are not included in the course fee

Course booking
To book a place on our training courses please complete and return a booking form. Please complete a separate booking form for each staff member who wants to attend.

Course costs
Training costs £367 (£319.13 ex VAT) per person. On completion of the course you will be entitled to free on-roof verification of your first installation (usual price £300) which, if approved, will enable you to become an Approved Roofing Contractor.

NFRC:
If you have previously attended the NFRC solar collector installation training course you are entitled to a reduced rate of £119 (£103.48 ex VAT). Please note on the booking form that you have attended the NFRC course and you will be given the discount. Trainees paying this reduced rate are not eligible for the free on-roof verification but can still go on to become Approved Roofing Contractors.

Additional staff:
Additional staff members from the same roofing company are entitled to a reduced rate of just £73 (£63.48 ex VAT). Additional staff must book at the same time as the trainee paying the full price or NFRC rate. Trainees paying this reduced rate are not eligible for the free on-roof verification but can still go on to become Approved Roofing Contractors.
