Solarcentury work with a national network of associate installers to provide residential solar electric installations throughout the UK.

If you are looking to install solar on an existing roof we recommend a Sunstation. Solarcentury will pass on your details to our local installer in your area, who will then confirm the suitability of your home, issue a quote and perform the installation, which usually takes less than one day. Please allow at least a week from the date of application for your local installer to contact you. Apply now by filling in our online application form, or call 020 7803 0100.

If you are building a new home with a new roof, or re-roofing an existing property we recommend C21e solar tiles. Solarcentury provide two routes to getting solar tiles:

• If you have a builder or roofer who you would like to manage the installation we can provide training and support for them, and deliver a pre-engineered solar tile system directly to your local builders merchant.
• If you would like an installer from our national network to manage the installation for you we will pass on your details and you will be contacted by your local installer.

In all instances you could qualify for a grant of up to £2500, providing you can prove you have taken energy efficiency measures.

Solar systems should be installed on unshaded south facing roofs at a pitch of 30-40°. About 8 square meters of uninterrupted space is required.

The systems we sell are all 'grid connected' avoiding the need for batteries. Any excess electricity generated will be sold back to your electricity provider, creating additional income to help reduce your electricity bill. See exporting electricity for more information.
