Our latest innovation, the CompleteSolarRoof, scooped the top prize at the recent Rushlight Award ceremony. As well as winning the Rushlight Award for Solar Power, it was also commended for the Renewable Energy Award and was short-listed for the overall Rushlight Award.
Solarcentury and Octavia Housing and Care launch the UKs largest Housing Association photovoltaic system
8th November 2007: We have teamed up with Octavia Housing and Care to launch the largest single PV system of any Housing Association in the UK at the company's headquarters on Kensal Road in west London. The installation for pioneering social housing organisation Octavia Housing and Care reinforces the group's ongoing commitment to environmental improvement, with the generation of clean onsite electricity set to dramatically cut the organisation's CO2 emissions by almost 20 tonnes each year.
Minister for Energy, Malcolm Wicks who attended the launch said:
"Everyone must do their bit to fight climate change by conserving energy and reducing carbon emissions. It is not just down to Governments or big institutions to solve the problem. We provided almost £125K in funding from the Major PV Demonstration Programme to support this project as it is exactly the kind of local level scheme that we need more of."

Solarcentury and JD Wetherspoon deliver the UKs first solar powered pub
We have provided photovoltaic (PV) tiles for JD Wetherspoon's new "Green Pub" in Melton Mowbury.
