Social

We will not tolerate social injustice. We respect all our colleagues, clients and partners, irrespective of race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or health status.

Globally
Solarcentury is entirely committed to eliminating social injustice. We will not do business with any individual or company who actively engages in any kind of exploitative activity. Where we can we aim to encourage positive social change, as with our CO2 off-set programme in Bagepalli for example (see Citizenship ).

We do not source any goods from companies, or engage any types of suppliers, who are associated with adverse working conditions, hours or any kind of social malpractice.

Locally
The team at Solarcentury are a very sociable bunch and often partake in activities involving the local community. We hold fortnightly 'team meetings' which are often used for social activities and range form talks on 'eye witness photography' to bread making and football or cricket matches. Our most recent match was against Climate Change Capital. We recognise that education is key to a sustainable future and often invite school groups and students in to learn more about low carbon energy solutions.
